"Go weapons hot" as a military command?
Q. Can you please tell me what "go weapons hot" mean as a military command? Is this a command the same as "fire", or as "get ready to fire", or anything else? I'm not going to shoot anybody, but need to know the correct meaning soon.

A. The term 'go weapons hot' means that when entering a building you fire as you enter. The term we use in the British Army is 'go red'.
