How long should an afghan be for a Blythe doll?
Q. I am crocheting blankets for some Blythe dolls that I ordered over the internet. I don't have them yet so I can't really measure the blanket against the doll. Does anyone know what a good length for a Blythe size afghan is?

Were the majority of Afghan civilians for the invasion of international forces?
Q. Is there any way to know the sentiment of the Afghan majority before the War in Afghanistan? Were forces seen as liberators? Did they want our help, or did we just force our will and values on them?

A. Not trying to be a smart azz, but it is reported on daily. You can watch the news and read the papers. As for wanting our help...the average person in the villages looked as us mainly as just another force in the way of their lifestyles. They prefer us vs. the Taliban and even more sometimes, then the current government. Some of the places I went to they could hardly tell they were liberated. When your poor and illiterate, you are in the dark. I felt the people know us in NATO and other democracies mean well and they know we will leave if they can one day govern themselves. Is it true that Border Collies are the smartest dogs and Afghan hounds are the least smartest dogs?
Q. If not, what breed of dog is the smartest and what breed of dog is the least smartest? I am not trying to insult the people who own Afghan hounds and I am not trying to make the people who own Border Collies start boasting. Please I need lots of answers. I have asked this question before and got 0 answers to it. I really would like to know the answer to my question so please alot of people answer it.

A. That survey always makes me see red because it is so NOT true! I bred, raised, trained and showed afghan hounds for many years and I know for a fact that they aren't dumb! I was obedience training my newfie and decided to train my male afghan for fun at the same time. He caught in in a very small fraction of the time and had a great time doing it! They get bored quickly - in my opinion, because they're smart, and you need to keep them challenged. If you start teaching them something new right away, they're fine, but they won't keep on with boring repetitions. I've known afghans with all 3 obedience degrees and there's no dumb dog can get a U.D. They're definitely not as "trainable", especially not by those who are only capable of… [cont.]
